德国黑暗电子歌特Unheilig基本是走的传统路线，电子主调+交响，男低嗓+女和声，轻车熟路，美！
器乐背景更偏重氛围，器乐的铺垫、渲染。
人声释放、深入煽情，相互衔接承接自然。
一听就知道是德国的，嗓音很有点战车的味道，有网友说：“老歌特遗骸演化而来的乐风，因与Dark Wave意识趋近而被归类，有NIGHTWISH 相似的感觉。”
反正真的很好听，首首都是好歌，有很金属的，也有很柔情的。

In 1999, together with Grant Stevens (songwriter of “Everlasting Friends” from the Holsten Pilsener TV spot) and José Alvarez-Brill (Wolfsheim, Witt, De/Vision) the foundation for UNHEILIG was laid by Der Graf.

The single “Sage Ja” was released on Bloodline Records in 1999, shot straight into the German DAC charts and became a club smash. In February 2001, the long awaited debut album “Phosphor” came on to the European market again on Bloodline/Connected Music. UNHEILIG´s convincing success was not only due to Alvarez-Brill´s production but more so to the multi-facetted mix of traditional Electro and Rock married to Der Graf´s unbelievable voice.

Over the next few months the band guested at major scene festivals and open air events throughout Germany ( Zillo Open Air, Wave Gothic Treffen Leipzig, Doomsday Festival, Woodstage Festival ) before taking a break from live work to write and produce the Christmas album “Frohes Fest” and the current longplayer “Das Zweite Gebot”.

The new album “Das Zweite Gebot” (released 7th April, 2003) is a successful evelopment of the ypical UNHEILIG musical style. On this album Der Graf assaults your ears with twelve new rocky electro songs; something to make you dance, some ballads and sometimes just plain straight ahead rocking. In his own words this is Der Graf´s “masterpiece” and, indeed, the musical conception follows
a clear path.

German lyrics delivered in Der Graf´s unmistakable, bone-shattering
rumble coupled with his appearance and presence make UNHEILIG one of the
most charismatic artists around. Whoever listens to this album will never forget it!

Whether you particularly like UNHEILIG´s musical style or not, the aura and voice will leave a lasting impression. This album has a sure chance of becoming one of the best German releases in 2003. Running against all the current casting trends or “Superstars” products here is, at last, an artist who sounds real. UNHEILIG comes from the old school of Artist Development and its loyalty to its fans is transparently clear on this album.

The album longplayer contains 12 new hit tracks including “Krieg der Engel”, “Gib mir mehr”, “Schutzengel” and “Sternenschiff”. An album full of highlights. In February 2003 the band is once again on the stage as support to L´AME Immortelle introducing eleven European cities to its new album, “Das Zweite Gebot”.

Directly after the tour the E.P.CD “Schutzengel” was released, including 4 previously unreleased tracks. The band played festivals during the summer.

“Mera Luna Festival” was one of the highlights for the band and the fans. Der Graf produced remixes for Absurd Minds, Terminal Choice and other bands and finally produced a song for the x-box game “Project Gotham Racing 2”. Then the band startet the production of the recordings for the new album “Zelluloid”. “Zelluloid” was released 23.02.2004 and at the same time the band went on tour together with Terminal Choice which turned out to be a big success for Unheilig.

With this release and the very successful tour Unheilig finally reached all kinds of media and a lot of new fans. The result of this enthusiasm was that Unheilig gave the fans the chance to vote their own new single release which became “Freiheit”. The E.P.CD “Freiheit” was released 18.10.2004 and the band played some more release concerts to promote the record. The fact that Unheilig played more concerts in 2004 than ever before in their career made the fans yell for a live CD. Once again the band gave the fans what they wantet and the double-live CD “Gastspiel” was released 31.01.2005. But this was not enough. Now everyone wanted more.

Preparations for the Unheilig DVD “KopfKino” started. 17.05.2005 was streetdate
for the release and people went crazy about the material and the quality of
“KopfKino”. 6 weeks before the DVD was released Unheilig was played for the first
time on one of the regular musictelevision channels (VIVA Plus) with their
videoclip “Freiheit”. This turned out to be a wonderful opportunity to reach new
people that neverever before heard about Unheilig, but started to love it at first
sight. During the summer 2005 Unheilig will play several festivals in germany and
some gigs in russia and spain.

The production for the new album has started ... be prepared !!!
